Amazing experience, super peaceful, and I like the fact that they limit the amount of people that can be there so it’s not too loud. There’s not too many people. It seems very private and also when you’re in the sauna, it’s a dim and the light just make it feel like you’re in a different country like Germany or something. It’s it’s amazing and also the Vibe of the whole space really makes you feel like you’re not in Seattle anymore. Little escape from Seattle while you’re directly in downtown Seattle.

I always try to go to banya at least once anytime I'm in Seattle. The facilities are always clean and I've never had a bad experience. The sauna alone is worth it!

I recently visited Banya 5 in Seattle for the first time and tried their cycling hot and cold pool therapy, and I have to say, it was absolutely life-changing! I never expected to feel so rejuvenated, especially after the cold plunge pool. Surprisingly, the cold pool was where I felt the best. Here's a tip: get your whole body, including your head, all the way into the cold pool. Don't overthink it, or you'll psych yourself out and won't last. Just go for it, and you'll be amazed at how invigorated you feel afterward. Hahaha. The sessions typically last 2 hours and cost around $75 per session, which is worth every penny. The experience was so phenomenal that I'm investing in a 5-session pack deal and planning to come back once a month to reset and recharge. Banya 5 offers a real dope experience, and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a unique and revitalizing spa day.

Love to spend a relaxing night here with my girls. Very clean. The dry sauna is the hottest the cold plunge is the coldest. Great relaxing evening sauna atmosphere.

What a wonderful, relaxing oasis in downtown Seattle. I’ve been here multiple times and the pre massage experience and post massage relaxation is outstanding. I m overdue posting a glowing review and can’t wait to return.

Great social spa with various hot tubs, cold plunge, sauna, and steam room. I enjoy the basic spa entry. They also offer other services like massage and yoga but I haven't tried those yet.

Banya 5 is the little sauna that could. In the shadows of newer, taller buildings, the unassuming Banya 5 building is a wonderful urban retreat that holds a special place in my heart. It feels like old Seattle: quirky, industrious, and a little punk rock. It’s not huge, it’s true, but the sauna and steam room are HOT, the cold plunge is FRIGID, and the euphoria that follows is unique, rejuvenating, and healing. Being able to experience this type of environment in the city is really convenient and an absolute treat. I’m not one for talking at the spa, so sometimes its more social in there than I would prefer. Still, the huge benefits to my body and mind vastly outweigh my feelings on the social component. Banya 5 ain’t the biggest or the flashiest, but it’s Seattle’s, full of character, and, to me, it’s beloved. Thank you to all the friendly staff who help to calm my ferocious mind and bring me some much needed tranquility.

Great place also has treatments / massage available. The salt scrub or mud wrap after a couple hours in the spa are a treat. the locker room is small - not a problem unless you want to spend a lot of time in there. Sometimes social vibe but generally chill. helpful staff.

My wife and I came here for mudwraps the evening after our wedding. We had a great experience, and left feeling refreshed, renewed, and ready for married life! The spa therapists were excellent; they paid attention to detail by checking in throughout the service, and were friendly and kind. The products used in the service, including the essential oils, I could tell were of particular quality. This was greatly appreciated as I am not someone who likes 'scents' or scented things normally. We left feeling great, and were happy we stopped by to mark the occasion.

30/30 body scrub and massage. Enjoyed both immensely. I left feeling great, more relaxed and upright in some time. The communal areas contain a sauna (super hot on the top tier,) an eucalyptus steam room, a cold plunge, an extra cold plunge, and an ok hot tub without jets. An employee came by and tested the water in all pools during my visit and adjusted levels. The services were great, and the common areas were nice. It can get pretty busy, but there's also a tea room to duck into should the communal become *too* communal.
